Berry-Kefir Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1 cup plain kefir
  • ½ medium banana
  • 2 teaspoons almond butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: Honey or maple syrup
  • Optional: Chia seeds or flax seeds
  • Optional: Spinach or kale
  • Optional: Protein powder

Instructions
 

  • Gather your ingredients: Measure out all your ingredients.
  • Combine in blender: Add all ingredients to your blender.
  • Blend: Blend on low speed, increasing to high until smooth. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  • Adjust consistency: Add more kefir or water if too thick, or more berries if too thin.
  • Serve immediately: Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

Use milk kefir or coconut kefir for dairy-free or regular. Add protein powder for a post-workout boost. Freeze for a cool treat.
