- 14 ounces pizza dough whole wheat or gluten-free
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2.75- ounce package country gravy mix gluten-free available
- 1 cup milk or water
- 1 cup ground beef sausage cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped vegetables onions, peppers, spinach
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare country gravy according to package directions.
If using pre-made dough, let it come to room temperature. Lightly grease a baking sheet. Spread dough evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Spread gravy sauce over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Distribute cooked sausage crumbles evenly over the cheese. Add any optional vegetables.
Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over the toppings.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Use gluten-free ingredients as needed. Substitute sausage with plant-based crumbles or vegetables for vegetarian options. Get creative with toppings! Offer a "build-your-own" pizza station.
